Difficulties to use online features

Hi,

When I've tried to play today, even with excellent 4G coverage (or even WLAN), I had difficulties :
a) to download the caches around
b) to check my profile
c) once the caches were downloaded, they were empty and I had to press a "download details" button every time
d) it took 10 minutes to upload my only log
(and by the way, the timestamp offset for the field notes is still there, 11:27 stamped instead of 18:27).

I got this kind of errors :

I've checked the GC forums : no maintenance, no other report of difficulties to connect to the servers.

have you also a 4G mobil contract? If not try to switch back to 3G

And remember: the connectivity symbol does not ensure, that the data connection (with DNS etc.) is also available. It displays only the mobil connection.
In aforest i often have this situation: 2 or 3 bars but no data connection.
It could be that m:geo uses a too short time-out setting.
